Predicting the prognosis before treatment is very important in non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) patients. In the presented study we targeted to evaluate the significant prognostic parameters that may have an effect on survival in NHL. One hundred seventy four NHL patients were analyzed from their hospital files, retrospectively. Age, B symptoms, performance status, baseline lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), haemoglobin and albumin levels have a statistically significant effect on overall survival on univariate analysis. In our study group, the worse prognostic factors were established as to be age older than 60 years, higher than normal LDH levels, poor performance status, low albumin levels, anemia and presence of B symptoms.
