Abstract

The petroleum ether, n-hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol extracts obtained from Thymelaea passerina (L.) Cosson & Germ., is wide-spread in Turkey and an annual plant, were investigated on several Gram (+), Gram (-) bacteria and Candida albicans for antimicrobial activity by disc diffusion method. Ethyl acetate extract was found to be active against all microorganisms.
