Özet

Vein of Galen aneurysm is a rare malformation that has high morbidity and mortality in those presenting with heart failure. It is often seen with heart failure at the newborn period, while infants may present with macro-cephaly, asymptomatic cardiomegalia or moderate heart failure. In neonates with Vein of Galen malformation presenting with heart failure endovascular therapy can yield good results. We report here the endovascular therapy and anesthetic management of a female newborn with vein of Galen malformation who presented with cardiac failure and pulmonary hypertension.
