The aim of this study occur socio-demografic features and pyhscial, emotional and social problems of cancer patients apply to Hacettepe Universty Oncology Hospital Mental Health Unit between 1998 and 2002. The data were collected through retrospective determinent research method by using interviewing reports. These reports consist of patients' features and problems from NANDA. According to study findings anxiety (64.7) is most frequent problem among cancer patients and ineffective personal coping with hopelessness (%57.8) follow-up anxiety. The patients with breast cancer apply mental health unit for emotional problem have more role performance change problem than other patients. The patients perceive insufficient social support experience more social interaction change than other patients (X2=9.17, p<0.01).
