Carotid artery stenosis is a major risk factor for cerebrovascular diseases. Carotid artery stenting is already become on routine clinical practice. In the perioperative period of stenting life-threating hemodynamic disorders become noticeable. In such circumtances, optimal treatment outcomes will be achieved only with adequate theoretical and practical background. We report a case of developing bradycardia and asistole in patient undergoing a carotid artery stenting protocole. Also we report the life-saving treatment strategy.
