Abstract

Brain metastasis of osteosarcoma is uncommon. In this report, we present a 21-year-old man with calcified brain metastasis of the osteosarcoma of the left proximal tibia following pulmonary relapse. Cranial computed tomography (CT) scan demonstrated a single calcified mass lesion involving the right temporal, parietal and occipital lobes with surrounding vasogenic edema and significant mass effect on the midline structures. © 2004 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
