Lecturer Sevecen Kaplan, MD, was born in Antakya in 1992. He earned his medical degree from Başkent University Faculty of Medicine in 2016. Between 2016 and 2020, he served as a general practitioner at the Hatay Altınözü District Health Directorate. Transitioning his focus toward health technologies and medical simulation, he completed his Master’s degree in Simulation in Health Sciences at Hacettepe University in 2025.
During his graduate studies, he participated in the Erasmus+ Internship Exchange Program in the summer of 2025 at Masaryk University's Simulation Center (SIMU) in the Czech Republic. Additionally, he held the positions of R&D Director and Project Coordinator at a health technology company in 2023.
Since 2025, Dr. Kaplan has been a faculty member as a Lecturer in the First and Emergency Aid Program at Lokman Hekim University, Vocational School of Health Services. He currently serves as an Instructor and Board Member at the ViTAL (Virtual Training and Learning for Healthcare) Simulation Center within the same university.
